How To Clean Pampered Chef Stoneware
Pampered Chef Stoneware is a great kitchen tool whether you use it for baking or cooking. What makes Pampered Chef Stoneware distinctive is that it becomes seasoned as it is used, becoming better with time. To properly maintain your stoneware and preserve the seasoning, you need to follow the simple care instructions Pampered Chef recommends for its stoneware.
Step 1
Allow your Pampered Chef Stoneware to cool down after cooking; it should be room temperature before cleaning. Sudden temperature changes can damage the stoneware. If the stoneware has been refrigerated, also allow it to reach room temperature before cleaning.
Step 2
Wash Pampered Chef Stoneware by hand in hot water. Never use any soap on the stoneware or place it in the dishwasher. One exception to soap use is on glazed stoneware, the glazed area can be washed using dish soap, but keep the soap out of the interior of the stoneware to preserve the seasoning.
Step 3
Use the small brown hand scraper included with your Pampered Chef Stoneware. Use the scraper to scrape excess food off of the stoneware as you wash it. For tough, caked on food, soak the stoneware in water to loosen it.
Step 4
If you have a sprayer on your kitchen sink, this is helpful for removing excess food and rinsing the stoneware as you scrape it clean.
