How To Use Fairy Gel

Things Needed

  • Dirty clothes, ready for washing

  • Washing machine

Fairy Non Bio Gel is the brand name of laundry detergent manufactured by Proctor and Gamble. This is a large corporation who also produces Ariel Excel Gel. Fairy Non Bio Gel was launched in the United Kingdom in March 2009. It is sold in a squeezable bottle which comes with a detachable cap for measuring the correct quantity of gel to add to the wash, enabling users to not waste any of the gel.

Step 1

Load your dirty laundry into the washing machine.

Step 2

Remove the cap off the top of the Fairy Non Bio Gel bottle. It is white and attached to the opposite end from where you squeeze the gel.

Step 3

Flip the lid off of the gel bottle. Squeeze the gel into the cap, only filling it up to the line on the inner plastic surface of the cap.

Step 4

Place the cap instead the washing machine. You do not need to tip the gel out of the cap, since the cap is designed to be included in the wash.

Step 5

Switch the washing machine to its usual settings, according to the load of washing. For example, for 100 percent cotton sheets you can use a hotter temperature setting.

Step 6

Wait for the wash to finish and take out the clean clothes. As you put them in the washing basket, find the gel cap. Affix it to the top of the Fairy gel bottle once again until it is ready to use again.

Tip

A 667 ml gel bottle is suitable for approximately 18 washes. A larger bottle with a volume of 962 ml can perform up to 26 washes.
