In the Kenmore line of washers and dyers, the 70 Series is a mid-priced family appliance that handles an average family's laundry needs. All appliances in the 70 series are freestanding and do not have stackable units. Available with both English and Spanish instructions, this mid-line series of appliances is suitable for almost any household needs.

The Kenmore 70 series washer has a 3.5 cubic foot capacity. It comes with the Sears Triple Action agitator and can hold 28 extra-large t-shirts in a single load. It has a white porcelain wash basket that is durable and easy to keep clean. A 700 max spin cycle leaves clothes prepped for the dryer.

Available in either gas or electric, the Kenmore 70 Series dryer has a variety of settings to take care of various fabrics. It notes several cycling options including "delicate" for more fragile garments and "casual" for everyday clothes. It features a Winkle Guard setting that tumbles clothes for up to 40 minutes after the cycle has ended to keep wrinkles from setting. It also has an Auto Dry feature that shuts the dryer off when clothes are done.

Both units have a limited one-year parts and labor. All models have an electric control panel. These units are not stackable. Both are eligible for extended warranty for an additional fee.

The Kenmore 70 Series is only available in white. Spanish or English instructions are available on either the washer or dryer. The washer operates on electricity and there is a gas option available for the dryer.
