How To Clean The Vornado Humidifier
Things Needed
-
White vinegar
-
Soft brush
-
Chlorine bleach
-
Towels or paper towels
Tip
To store the humidifier, empty the base and water reservoir. If the filters are usable, turn on the highest fan setting to dry out the filters. If they aren't usable, discard them. Store the humidifier in a cool, dry area.
Cold, dry air in the winter can create static electricity, irritate respiratory conditions, and cause dry skin. A Vornado brand humidifier circulates humid air through a room up to 700 square feet using adjustable fan and humidity settings. With regular use, the filter and humidifier can build up residue from hard water or pollutants, so clean and disinfect the Vornado humidifier weekly. Proper care ensures that your Vornado humidifier works safely and effectively.
