Tip
If returning the cleaning system to the distributor in person, get written documentation that they have accepted the merchandise back, such as a return sales receipt.
Always add proof of delivery when shipping a product back to a distributor. This includes delivery confirmation, signature confirmation or insurance on the package.
Warning
Do not return your cleaning system to the Rainbow manufacturer, as they will not accept any returns.
Rainbow Cleaning Systems are a high-tech line of vacuum cleaners that use water filtration to collect dust. The dust is collected as it would be with a normal vacuum, but then blown into a water canister where it is trapped. If the vacuum is faulty, or if you are unhappy with the product, it may need to be returned. These cleaning systems are available only through distributors, and must be returned directly to the distributor you purchased the item from. The manufacturer itself will not deal with any return procedures.
Step 1
Locate your purchase receipt. All distributors are required to have a return policy clearly stated on the receipt, directing you to return the piece of equipment back to distributor within a certain amount of days from the date of purchase.
Step 2
Find the contact information for the distributor that sold you the product. Distributor contact information can be found on the Rainbow Systems website.
Step 3
Call the distributor and explain your situation and reason for return. The refund is completely at the discretion of the distributor as to whether or not they will accept the product, based on their return policy.
Step 4
Send a letter to the distributor via regular mail or email regarding your reason for return. This will provide written documentation of your reason for return. Include your name, date, product purchased, reason for return, and date of telephone communication with the distributor.
Step 5
Place the product back in its original packaging, then ship or hand deliver the item back to your distributor if the distributor has agreed to accept the return.
