How To Remove Paint Stains From My Crocs
Crocs are a brand of shoes that are made of heavy-duty rubber and are used in gardening or housework. Most Crocs are sandals and waterproof. This makes Crocs easy to clean. You can use household cleaning solutions to remove paint stains from your Crocs.
Warning: Never clean Crocs in a dishwasher or washing machine, as the heat can cause the Crocs to warp or shrink.
Things Needed
-
Liquid dishwashing detergent
-
Toothbrush
-
Spoon
Step 1
Fill a sink with warm water and immerse the Crocs. Let them soak for 15 to 20 minutes. This will soften the paint stains, making them easier to clean.
Step 2
Mix one cup of warm water with several drops of liquid dish washing detergent until suds form.
Step 3
Dip a toothbrush into the solution and brush the paint stains away.
Step 4
If the paint stains still remain, gently scrape them away with the edge of a spoon. Do not use a knife or sharp edge, as they may cut the surface of the Crocs.
Step 5
Run the Crocs under clear water to remove the soap and paint residue.
Step 6
Allow the Crocs to air dry completely before wearing them.
Tip: Avoid paint stains from settling on your Crocs by wiping away paint drips before they dry.
