Things Needed
-
Hairspray

Shot glass (optional)
-
Vodka(optional)
-
Clean washcloth
At first glance, ink stains on shoes and other articles of clothing may seem hopeless to clean. But getting ink stains off shoes and other articles of clothing can be done relatively cheaply using items you may already have around the house.
Step 1
Hold the can of hairspray a few inches from the stain on the shoe. Spray the length of the stain twice with the hairspray. Allow the hairspray to penetrate the stain but not to dry.
Step 2
If you are using vodka, then dip the clean wash cloth into the shot glass. Rub the wash cloth across the ink pen marking twice. Allow the vodka to soak the stain for a minute
Step 3
Buff away the stain with a clean wash cloth using circular motions over the stain. Depending on the depth of the stain, it may take more than one treatment to completely remove it.
Step 4
If the ink stain lightly runs to another part of the shoe, simply repeat the hairspray or vodka removal method.
Step 5
Buff the shoe to a shine using a circular motions with a clean area of the washcloth.
