...And Boho For All: 3 Rooms, 3 Chic Updates

For a word we throw around a lot, "boho" can be tough to pin down.

For some, it's about rich colors and vintage-y furnishings; for others, it's all about jungle vibes; and for still others, it's synonymous with tie dye. Rather than worry about the "real" boho style, we set out to embrace the term's versatility: We headed to the Hunker House with a selection of beautiful Walmart products to style out three rooms.

Room #1: Modern Eclectic Bathroom

Natural materials and refined shapes set the stage for this gorge bathroom setup, but it's the vintage-style green glass accessories from Drew Barrymore Flower Home that are the true stars of this scene.

We love how the green pops against the pink wall and marble backsplash. Layering in more nature-inspired and elements — wood and crystal objects, tiny bud vases filled with single stems — brings interest to an otherwise refined, modern room.

Room #2: Midcentury Boho Lounge Area

For this cozy living space, we paired classic modernist elements — clean-lined upholstered furnishings, hairpin legs, midcentury-style ceramics — with boho textures like macrame and dimensional throw pillows. Shades of green dominate the space, from the velvet-shaded floor lamp to the botanical elements throughout. We love the juxtaposition of the woven elephant side table with MoDRN's Scandi-cool planter.

Boho and Beyond Bedroom

Last but definitely not least: the bedroom, where we embraced the layers, textures, global accents, and greenery that define modern boho style. The large macrame wall hanging in the window does double duty as a curtain and above-bed art, while amber pendant lights leave room on the bedside tables for necessities and chic accents. We created the foundation for the bed's look with Drew Barrymore Flower Home's Borla Blanca 3-Piece Comforter set, whose rows of tassels and fluffy loft gave the bed a welcoming look, especially against the taupe velvet headboard. At the foot of the bed, we created even more texture with baskets and bedding elements, which complemented the pink lines in the shag rug.

We added global flair by using our favorite Safavieh woven elephant table (we got 2!) as a bedside table (we placed a round tray inside to make sure we had an even surface — it worked perfectly).

With so many ways to bring the boho trend into your space, there's almost certainly a way for you to make the style your own.
