How This First-Time Homebuyer Reached Peak Organization In Her New Chicago Home

Keeping your home clean and organized (even if you're the most Marie Kondo-esque of people) is just plain hard, especially when it comes to the easily cluttered spaces—like the area by the front door that often doubles as your household's one-stop-shop for shoes, coats, purses, mail, the list goes on.

Take it from Grace Hamilton, sales director at Hunker, who recently moved from her smaller space in New York to a full-size abode in Chicago, and is adjusting to the new homeowner lifestyle. (Read: figuring out how to furnish her new place in spite of the increase in square footage.)

"The area that I think really needs to be organized is our front entryway," Hamilton says. "It's a catch-all for coats and boots and it gets really dirty [from] tracking mud through on the hardwood floor." For help, she turned to personal organizer Melissa Groff to clean and revamp her entryway as well as her entertainment space.

First up on the spruce-up menu? Bona® Hardwood Floor Cleaner, which dries fast, leaves no residue, and is safe for humans, pets, and the planet. Because what's the point of getting your home (specifically your busy entryway) entertaining-ready if the floors aren't spick and span, too?
