Household Disinfectant Tutorial For Everyone
Making your own cleaning solutions can be easy and effective, however many do not actually disinfect your surfaces. This recipe will help you create a DIY household disinfectant spray that is totally unexpected, yet works to both clean and sanitize. It's ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and other household surfaces.
Things Needed

70% isopropyl alcohol, 1 1/2 cups (If stores are out, you can use 100 proof —
or higher — vodka. But please, read this first if you decide to use vodka as a disinfectant.)

Distilled white vinegar, 1/2 cup

Tea tree oil, 40 drops

Spray bottle, 16 to 20 ounces
PLEASE NOTE: This disinfectant spray is not safe for stone surfaces such as granite or marble.
How to Make DIY Household Disinfectant
Step 1
Add the isopropyl alcohol (or vodka) to your spray bottle.
Step 2
Add the tea tree oil, and shake well to combine the first two ingredients.
Step 3
Pour in the vinegar and shake well.
To Use ...
Spray surfaces and allow the disinfectant to sit for about 30 seconds, and then wipe away with a clean cloth.
